This week, I had the honour of being able to sit in on the very first dress rehearsal for the upcoming major production of the hit Broadway musical Little Shop of Horrors. Despite this musical being done countless times across both film and theatre, WCC’s 2026 production maintains both the original story and concept, whilst also adding its own elements. Fog slithered through the trees like ghostly tentacles, clutching at my coat. My boots sank into the spongy earth, leaving muffled squelches with every step. The damp air clung to my skin, slightly rotten with the scent of death. The forest seemed to be holding its breath, waiting for something.
