People may debate about the great presidents in US history, Lincoln, Washington, Obama, but one thing is for sure, Donald Trump trumps constitutional abuse, and corruption marks his place at the bottom.
It seems bizarre, a man with 40 criminal charges to his name, no prior political or military service, put in charge of the world’s most dominant economic and military power.
Many choose to laugh at Donald Trump’s clownishness and lack of awareness, deeming it harmless, simply laughing at his interviews on the internet.
In reality, his time in office has been nothing but dangerous for our world.
Bodies pulled from rubble in Gaza, more than 100 children dead in US and Israel strikes on an Iranian school, 32 people dead in ICE custody in 2025, making it the deadliest year in two decades.
All casualties in Donald Trump’s realm of chaos, yet he remains unaffected, going on to continue meeting with world leaders, making trade deals, even meeting with the King, growing all the more power hungry while remaining unaffected by the destruction he has inflicted.
It’s truly no wonder that global conflict remains the top fear amongst Americans.
So, what is it about this outdated and cruel leadership that seems to be steering the world towards war?
Well, to begin with, we have the Middle East conflict, with the US killing Iran’s supreme leader, followed by attacks by Iran on Israel and US allied states, with the impact of the conflict rapidly spreading to Lebanon.
And now Donald Trump is threatening to wipe out an entire civilisation in Iran, unless the country strikes a peace deal soon.
The reality of World War three is approaching, with both America and Iran unwilling to compromise on their objectives.
In the meantime, Trump continues to leverage America’s military powers to target key sites linked to Iran’s nuclear program and oil and gas sites.
Spending $1.5 trillion dollars and burning through half of America’s strategic stockpile in the past two months of conventional attack.
Why?
Well, Trump has long fantasised about using conventional military tactics to attack the Iranian regime and force it to abandon its nuclear program. While he is arguing that stripping Iran of its nuclear power would prevent future war, in reality, Trump is creating an even larger war in this pursuit to become the only nation with nuclear power.
Rather than seeing Iran as the threat with nuclear weapons, like Trump is insinuating, it seems the true threat is the questionable power of the world that Trump seems to be wielding now in his second presidential term. The way I look at it, the future of our world is now in possession of someone with endless means of annihilation and a sociopathic appetite for escalation that seems to grow day by day.
And it’s not just me, leaders across the world, including Pope Leo, have shown no fear in speaking out about Trump’s rampage of violence, stating, “Too many people are suffering in the world today” and “Too many innocent people are being killed”.
However, for many others, the ludicrousness of Trump and his actions prevents the human brain from distinguishing his actions for what they are: evil.
It’s easy to simply humour this behaviour on social media, believing we are unaffected and Trump’s wicked behaviour simply doesn’t apply to us; however, the truth is, even as students in Australia, the global conflict is constantly threatening our future.
As many have heard, fuel prices have increased; well, this is due to the economic damage that the US and Israel have inflicted on Iran, putting Iran’s oil infrastructure on hold.
The US has blocked the Strait of Hormuz, which is used to transport oil and liquified natural gas, not only from Iran but also from Gulf states such as Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, causing the largest oil supply disruption in the history of the global market.
And the situation doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better with Trump’s lack of compromise, instead making declarations about stealing Iranian oil, “If it were up to me, if take the oil, I’d keep the oil, it would bring plenty of money”.
Due to the global conflict, many experts warn that Australia would be pushed to the brink of recession, and inflation would surge past 7% if the oil crisis worsened.
Trump’s unbridled cruelty, relentless violence, and apocalyptic threats have surpassed cajoling and humouring; it is now a crime against humanity, every day people are dying in this war played by privileged politicians who remain unaffected by their own selfish actions.
It’s clear the war can only be fought with urgency, before it consumes our world.

There some great points in this!! HOWEVER, if you’re going to talk about the oil crisis, both sides (US-Israel, Iran and allies) need to be held accountable for it. Remember that after their Supreme Leader’s assassination, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz first, and was attacking anything that went through it. The US blockaded AFTER the ceasefire because ships that were going through the strait during this time were being tolled upwards of $1,000,000 USD which would in short, cause major inflation worlwide.
There really is no side that is inherently “wrong” in this conflict as both are settling grievances.
As to the rest of article, many agree. I do not understand why many people still take him seriously as a leader, the design says it well.
