Introduction
Who’s ready to dive into the life of a year six student?! I know I am, Year six is the last year of primary school, and by far the most exiting year yet! From kindy buddies to being the leaders of the school, it’s an amazing privilege to enjoy and look forward to!
Kindy buddies
A very popular activity in year six is kindy buddies. Year 6 students can help kindergarteners with their learning every second Thursday. We can help with Maths, Writing and many other things. We can give the kindergarten students some guidance if they feel unsure or worried about any topic. Us year 6’s love our time with our kindergarten buddies.
Laptops
Another awesome perk of year 6 is laptops! You can buy any type of laptop; Hp, macs and many more. You can customise your laptop, Password, background, apps, case and more! The best part is that you can take your laptop home with you! Year 6 is awesome.
Formal
In the last term of primary school, year 6 has a special formal organised by our parents. It’s something you should definitely look forward to in year 6! You get to dress up in nice clothes and have a fun time with your friends.
Camp
In year 6 you travel 5 hours to Canberra with the rest of your grade. We have the opportunity to go to Questacon, Parliament House and we even get to bunk with our friends. Camp is so much fun and we will never forget it.
Conclusion
Year 6 is by far the best year of primary school, and we would like to thank all the teachers that have helped us throughout primary school. We are sad to leave but we know that God will be there with us. Thank you for taking your time to read. <3
