Being a Christian school, we attend chapels, preach about the Lord, sing his praises and offer discussions. But how can an individual express their beliefs amongst others who may not feel the same way? This article is not the usual type… As I am opening it up to you all on what you agree or disagree on when it comes to this topic. Please read through both the definitions and questions then when you wish you offer up your perspective, follow the structure in the comment section

Respect Definitions

Belief Definitions
something believed; an opinion or conviction. a belief that the earth is flat.
confidence in the truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof. a statement unworthy of belief.
confidence; faith; trust. a child’s belief in his parents.
a religious tenet or tenets; religious creed or faith. the Christian belief.

- How do you feel about respecting other religions in correlation to your beliefs and original definition? Are you able to respect a religion whilst believing in your own?

- To what extent does someone’s religion define them as a person?
- If you presented in a space where you had to obey the religious laws, for example stepping into a Mosk wearing a headscarf or entering a Christian church with modest clothing, would you oblige and be respectful of that space or do you believe it is against your religion to do so?
