Acai Bowls

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 banana preferably frozen
  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 150 g frozen acai puree (about 1 cup, or 1 tbsp acai powder)

TOPPINGS

  • 1/4 cup strawberries chopped
  • 1 banana chopped
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Toss banana, mixed berries, apple juice, and frozen acai puree into blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Scoop into bowls and top with your favourite ingredients. I used fresh strawberries and bananas, granola and coconut flakes to sprinkle, and a spoonful of peanut butter.
